A project with the stated purpose of "Transitioning the world through collective intelligence" and "building the next free currencies"
JuanmaMP, FridemarPache, NathanielThurston -- if you are interested in the intersection of online communities and alternative currencies and collective intelligence / global wisdom, you should definitely communicate with [the Transitioner] people, who are very active in this space, very serious about what they are doing, and have been working on these subjects for several years now.
In a month, they are planning to have [a conference in Mexico.]
They are presently using an alternative currency they call the "WE."
I have talked with both Jean-François Noubel and Fernanda Iberra (the people putting on the conference) in person before. This is not their first conference; They have put on others before. You don't need to go to the conference to participate with them; They are very tech-positive, and very much [wiki friendly.]
My basic organizing principle is that: Where there is great shared passion, all other things being equal, there should be joining of efforts, because (and this is especially true in the beginnings of things) there is exponential return with more people.
I would like to see the Transitioner's effort succeed, so I would like to see the three of you join forces with them. This is not to discourage you from conversing here. But at the very least, the Transitioner effort should be in your attention.
NathanielThurston: Thanks, lion! I created a home page on the wiki and said hello, but so far I've been disappointed in the response -- they seem to busy with their own stuff to WelcomeNewcomer.
FridemarPache: Thank you Lion, I did the same as Nathaniel, looking forward to all participating as "imagine cells" pioneers, collaborating in synergy. I found there an already existing framework, where <-> TrueAuthorCredit can be interpreted as a special WE-currency, but beyond that as a tool to extract energies from the "nutritious soup" of the decaying caterpillar worm, as the supporter Google:Deepak+Chopra formulated it in this video: [We are the change] or this interview: [Butterflies in the Chaos].

HelmutLeitner: Nathanial, I did the same as you, maybe 3-4 years ago, create a homepage, and never got any response. They may be very serious about what they are intending, as Lion said, but when it becomes not visible what they are doing, whether they are actually doing something at all, I tend to become critical again.
FridemarPache: Helmut, perhaps some great ideas need a longer incubation period. Lion, Nathaniel you and me could open or join a special transparent interest group there, advancing the WE currency, bilinked with Meatball.
