A SlideWiki is a wiki, where all the pages come in form of slides, i.e. as pages that can be overlooked without the need for scrolling. See [SeedWiki:SlideWiki] and as multimedia variant [Elearning: Example:1] [Elearning: Example:2]
Each classical wiki could be handled this way, but it costs a lot of discipline to always stay within the frame of one slide. So the author suggests to handle a Slide Wiki in form of a TwinWiki pair (V,W), where the slides reside in V and the overspilling part is saved in W. V is always in DocumentMode, while W is a repository for the rest.
Since ThreadMode would break the slides in "no time", we have the following options to avoid this:
- GoogleSideWiki for accompanying TwinPages. [GoogleSideWiki: SlideWiki]
- [Screenr:SharedScreenCast Test0],[Screenr:SharedScreenCast Test1] for enlarging the space into new directions, to which the initial author invites you heartily (free software, liberal license, format-compatible tool, a friendly vibrant community, automatic syndication to Twitter and YouTube, no special registration necessary, uses Twitter account)
- [MeatBall:SlideWikiO DiscussionPage ...]
