"Jesus bent down and started to write on the ground with his finger." John 8, v.6

This is the only place in the Gospel where Jesus is said to write. He did not write with ink on paper, but on the ground, some would say in sand or dirt.

Wind would easily erase the script, preventing us from idolizing it. Yet for Christians the spirit remains, embodied by PeopleAsaMedium who transmit the message from one generation to the next.
